Admissions Procedures

The process for enrollment begins with a tour and informal interview.  We would like to get to know your family and understand your child’s educational needs.  The next step is setting up a Student Observation.  We require that a potential student attends a partial day (3 or more hours) at the school to observe the classroom environment and allow for the teachers to observe and assess the student.  In the Montessori 3-6 classrooms, teachers follow a behavioral and academic checklist to help determine what foundational skills a child has before entering a Montessori classroom. After the student observation, teachers consult with the head of school to help make a determination as to student’s potential to succeed in this academic and social setting.  The school also requires the parent to submit the most current quarterly grades, end of year grades, and standardized test scores from the previous school in order to help make a determination for enrollment.  Parents receive notification about their child’s eligibility for enrollment usually within a week of the observation.

The following is required for enrollment:

  • Paid $200.00 registration fee
